They are dam lot better looking that Dodge Dakota based freak show LINK This reads like Nissan may want to make a small truck again too LINK I would much rather have either the Mahindra the Mitsubishi or if it looks decent the Nissan smaller truck that the second generation Toyota Tacoma pork chop or the likely to be even bigger 3rd generation Toyota whole pig Tacoma .
Ya, hopefully the mini-pickup will get a second life in North America. I'm really hoping Ford keeps the Ranger small too, and make an F-100 if they feel they need a midsize. Would be cool if the Mahindra had some success here and forced the other manufacturers to get into the small diesel arena. Who knows how future fuel prices will pan out. If the rest of the world is any indication, small diesels will be the way to go in the near future... maybe?

I hope someone makes a small pickup because soon because I want a small truck next time , if I need to haul or tow something I will just re insure the F250 and use it .
That was pretty impressive dragging that 10 wheeler through wet clay
Mike
Unfortunately the Kenworth was under power also, thats why they avoid showing the rear wheels of the rig at certain points. Not quite as impressive as some would hope. If that rig wasn't running, i suspect it would still be at the start point.
I saw a guy once pull a semi on level ground with a rope held in his teeth. He MUST be as powerful as that truck I guess. Or as big since this is a size comparison.
The Triton is not tiny. The days of the early small Hilux type Pickups are long gone. You did see for a few seconds in that video the locked tyres on the back of the Kenworth, then the driver of the tractor floored the engine.

It would be nice to be able to send Mitsubishi an Email saying build it and I will buy it [if its a RCLB 4x4] but they dont have an Email address and Mahindra will respond to Emails but they dont even sell trucks here I would much rather have a Mitsubishi pickup than a Mahindra .
